Hot Prospect Conrad Cummings (3-0, 2 KOs)

didn't hang around either for overtime as he

completely destroyed Lajos Munkacsi

(14-14-3, 4 KOs) within two rounds. Cummings

looked fantastic and the all round game of

the middleweight seems like an exciting thing to

follow going forward. Cummings unleashed hard

left hands to Munkacsi's body then followed up

with a right hook up top. This carried on into

the second round when Munkacsi was

completely taken apart by a dazzling combination

by Cummings and hit the floor hard. The referee

called the fight off when Munkacsi tried to

stand and fell back on his face.

Willie Casey (15-3, 9 KOs) stepped back into the ring after his latest set back and was made to work a lot harder than I'm sure he thought he would have. Krzysztof Rogowski (7-9, 2 KOs) was the opponent and seemed fired up for the win. Casey seemed content with fighting off the back foot and trying to counter Rogowski but Casey was being pinned down and caught continuously. The only saving grace was that Rogowski wasn't able to really capitalise on Casey's mistakes and the Limerick man responded to each attack with the cleaner harder shots. The crowd erupted in the

sixth and final round when Casey actually

began to force Rogowski

back but the energy just didn't look there for Willie so he finished up with a tidy points win.

Cruiserweight Conall Carmichael (5-1, 2 KOs) added a points win to his record over Bangor based Moses Matovu (5-43-4) who is originally from Ghana. Carmichael boxed a smart fight throughout even when faced with Moses' repeated comical showboating. The fight looked to be a short one with Moses hitting the deck in the second after being struck with a well timed left hook from Carmichael but the Ghana native climbed to his feet to see the fight out whilst being completely outclassed.

The opening bout saw another Ghana fighter, Isaac Dogboe (2-0, 1 KO) also outclass late step in Andy Harris (3-14-1) to a points win. Dogboe who was a London Olympian came out firing and had Harris down in the first, but to Harris' credit he rallied back and earned every penny of his paycheque as

he tried to keep the talented prospect Dogboe at bay. Harris was hit with every punch in the book and still hung in to the end but the punishing hooks to the body will surely have been felt the following morning as Dogboe couldn't really miss.

Overall, a great night for these guys as hanging around for Frampton to lace up the gloves sees them enter into inactivity and if Cyclone Promotions keeps bringing audiences in these numbers then it shows of this nature will surely continue to grace the city of Belfast.
