very innovative ways on applying and countering, including a nasty looking figure four on the apron. In the end Charlotte picked up a well-deserved victory to win the vacant championship which held significant importance for both divas. Charlotte got the much needed win to make her look like the superstar she needs to be and Natalya did what she always does and that putting on a master class by making her opponent look strong. I’m not sure if this was the result of giving them enough time, excellent training, or just great chemistry, or even a combination of all three, whatever it was, they was truly excellent to witness.

NXT Title Match: Adrian Neville Vs Tyson Kidd

Match Rating *** ½

So here is your main event, we get a magnificent video package to hype both superstars as now it’s time for Adrian Neville to prove that he can hang with the very best. Much like the last match-up, this starts out with both mirroring each other with some fast-paced technical wrestling with plenty of armdrags and submissions to really test each other.

Both wrestlers told a great story throughout here as Neville portrayed the underdog while Kidd seemed almost heel by mocking and hitting cheap shots where ever he could. William Regal actually made a great reference by referring Adrian Neville to what Tyson Kidd lost. As the match progresses, the tempo starts to quicken although both struggle to hit those higher gears that they are capable of. Some impressive moves including a sick looking side-Russian legsweep from the middle rope and huge frankensteiner to tease what is coming. Eventually Neville picks up the victory and retains thanks to the ‘Red Arrow’ and twisting corkscrew shooting star press which looks even more impressive every time you see. Post-match Adrian Neville extends the hand but Tyson declines and makes a quick getaway to close the show.

Overall Rating: 8/10

Overall Thoughts: NXT continue to deliver with what proved to be yet another successful PPV show. I would thoroughly recommend that if you do follow WWE but not NXT, that you seriously check out the Tyler Breeze Vs Sami Zayn & Charlotte Vs Natalya matches to get a taste of what’s currently the most consistent show. Honestly, I would probably say that I enjoy NXT more than any other weekly show there is out there. The future certainly looks bright in WWE.
