on and focussed was the build-up to the Lucien Bute fight and we all saw what happened there. I'm just enjoying it, so everybody else should enjoy it and Wembley Stadium, wow."

So that's the build-up, but what about the fight itself? The saying is that a leopard can't change its spots, and Froch cannot change the way he fights. He is a slow starter who grows stronger during the fight while Groves is young enough to not change his style, but to improve the big thing that let him down last time - his stamina. His tactics in the first fight were fine and should only be fine tweaked, the right hand was almost laser guided and landed at will. I'm backing Groves in this one by a split decision, which will ensure that we see a third instalment of the biggest domestic grudge match of recent years.

The undercard has started to take shape in recent weeks. Matchrooms new signing James “Chunky” Degale (18-1, 12kos) faces his toughest test to date against unbeaten American Brandan Gonzales (18-0-1, 10kos) in an IBF Super Middleweight final eliminator.

Degale will need to be at his very best to beat the American, who has looked impressive since turning professional in 2007. Also on the undercard Kevin Mitchell faces Ghislain Maduma in a final eliminator for the IBF World Lightweight Title, and Anthony Joshua will also appear however his opponent has not been named at present.
