2018 Lakeland Municipal Election Coverage
Thursday, November 6
With
the
Tennessee
state
and
Federal
Elections in
November,
Lakeland
residents will
also have several
municipal elections on the ballot,
including electing the mayor, two
commissioners, and three school board
representatives.
Incumbents on the ballot include mayor
Wyatt Bunker, Commission Clark Plunk,
School Board Chair Kevin Floyd, and
School Board Member Laura Harrison.
Commissioner Matt Wright and School
Board Member Kelley Hale did not stand
for re-election.
All 11 candidates were contacted with
the opportunity to participate in the
candidate profile. At the time the edition
closed, the following individuals did not

skill sets to bring a diverse group of
