AMS Student Council Welcomes New Bobcats
By Jennifer Beasley, Student Council Sponsor
The Arlington Middle School Student
Council helped ring in the new school
year and the new school district by hosting two back-to-school orientations for
students on Thursday, July 31st.
The purpose of the orientations was to
welcome new 6th graders to AMS, allow

and mingle with new classmates while
enjoying a sno-cone.

answer session with Principal Dr. Clark,
and Vice Principals Tabetha Banks and
Melissa Lukas. Student Council Officers
assisted with the event by helping the 6th
grade Bobcats find their way to their
groups, snap some photos of the event,
and clean up.

tours to close out the evening, allowing

halls and become
