Arlington High School Varsity
baseball team for winning their
first Division 1 Class AAA
championship. The Tigers
defeated Bearden High School
9-3 at Reese Field on the
campus of Middle Tennessee
State University. Brady
Bramlett, who finished the
season 11-0 for the Tigers,
completed his season year at
Arlington High School with the
win on the mound at MTSU.
Arlington proved to the State of
Tennessee they could win as a
team as Jordan Barnes gloved a
fly ball in right field when hit
by Bearden’s centerfielder
Lane Thomas and Andy
Bowman finished 3-for-4
having 4 RBI’s and three
doubles! Then it was time to
dog pile on the field as players,
coaches, parents, and spectators
didn’t even try to wipe away
the tears of joy. Arlington High School Baseball Wins State Championship Story and Photo by Nelia Dempsey
