The
Lakeland
annual Spelling Bee was
held Tuesday, December
17, 2013. Student
representatives from
every fourth and fifth
grade class nervously
strived to accurately
spell words that
progressively got more
difficult as each new
round started.
The event began
with 24 participants, but
after ten rounds only two
remained. The last two
spellers, Luke Anderson
