Donelson Elementary's
Math & Literacy Night used
hands-on activities to make
learning fun for the whole
family including estimation,
constructing threedimensional shapes, and
math games. (see pictures
bottom, right).
Kindergarten
celebrated the 100th
day of kindergarten
on Tuesday, January
20. The day began
with the story Mrs.
Bindergarten
Celebrates the 100th
Day of Kindergarten.
Students counted
to 100 by 2’s, 5’s,
and 10’s all day
through a variety of
activities. Some of
the favorite ways to
count to 100 were
creating a yummy
and colorful necklace
from Fruit Loops,
mixing together a
100 piece trail mix,
and making a 100’s
day hat.
