3 basketball tournament
was held at Arlington
High
School
on
September 21, 2013.
This tournament was
started in memory of
Tony Woods. Tony was
a former AHS Tiger
basketball player as well
as
a
member
of
Westminster
College
basketball
team
in
Fulton, MO; who died
this summer. In honor of
the type of person Tony
was and his willingness

2013 7th Grade Shelby County Undefeated Champions
In what has become a
local
tradition,
both
Arlington Tigers 7th and
8th Grade Football teams
went undefeated and won
the Shelby County Middle
School
Football
Championship.
Arlington Tigers 7th
Grade Football team

won their 3rd straight
Shelby
County
Championship
beating
ECS 34-20 after an
explosive 4th quarter.
The Championship game
held Oct. 28th at
Arlington High School
featured a wild and crazy
finish starting with Kenny
Walker III’s 86 yard
touchdown
pass
to
Rashuan Williams which
broke a 12-12 tie with 6
minutes left in the game.
On the ensuing kickoff
Tiger’s kicker Jared
Smith had a perfect
onside
kick
attempt
recovered by teammate
Glyndon Carroll which
set up another Tiger score
to go up 28-12 with 4
minutes left in the game.
The Tiger’s sealed their
Championship
victory
when outside linebacker
Will Ruth intercepted an
ECS p
