SCHOOL NOTES
Teachers at Lakeland had a BLAST on their first day of in-service . Shortly after Superintendent Dr . Ted Horrell ’ s closing remarks , Principal Joretha Lockhart projected a screen to the teachers that said simply , " Check Your E-mail ."
The mad dash that followed required grade level and specialty teams to utilize multiple devices , augmented reality , and their noggins to solve riddles , crack codes , and collaborate to complete their tasks .
