Solar Ovens Art Show AES Juggling Team
Students in Mrs. Pyron’s third grade
class have been studying about solar
energy. They decided to use what they
had learned to be build solar ovens and
use them to cook s’mores. Special thanks
to Pizza Hut in Arlington for the donation
of pizza boxes. Arlington Elementary held their annual
Art Show on Tuesday, March 28.
Students and parents were very excited to
see artwork displayed for every student at
AES. The art show is held each spring as
a fundraiser for the AES art department. The Arlington Elementary juggling
team has spent the past year representing
AES,
but
also
the
Arlington
community. The team was featured
on Live at Nine, performed during
halftime at the Arlington High School
basketball game, and at the University of
Memphis women’s basketball game. They
showed off their talents and hours of
preparation at each of their performances.
These dynamic group of students proudly
represented our school and community.
