of the APTA will have its
historic sites (Rachel H. K.
Burrow
Museum,
Blacksmith Shop, Historic
Post Office, Harrell Farm
Log Cabin) open during
Arlington in April, April
29, 10am-4pm at Historic
Depot Square. There will
be new exhibits at the sites,
including
the
feature
“Gadgets” exhibit at the
Museum and a hands-on
1800s outdoor exhibit by
the Log Cabin and Historic
Post Office. Come and
enjoy Arlington history.
The Arlington Senior
Citizens Center will hold a
Tea Fundraiser for the
West Tennessee Veterans
Home from 10:00 am –
4:00 pm during Arlington

2nd Annual Tour de
Lakeland & Spring
Festival
The second annual Tour
de Lakeland & Spring
Festival, celebrating the
City’s 40th anniversary, is
scheduled for Saturday,
May 13, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.,
and will feature a beautiful
nature
ride
through
Lakeland, live music, face
painting, inflatables, food,
a silent auction and more.
The fun will include four
rides (4 Mile Fun Ride, 40
Kilometer, 40 miles and 50
miles). The start and finish
of the bike rides and all
festival events will take
place at the IH Park and
LAMP Pavilion, 4523
Canada Road. All proceeds
will go to fund the
Lakeland
Trails
and
Lakeland
Dog
Park
Entry fees before April
15 are $25 for the longer
rides and $10 for the 4 mile
fun ride. After April 15 the
fees will go to $35 and
$12. All cyclists receive a t
-shirt and entrance to the
festival is FREE. To
