FINESSE
Think “finesse” when driving off-road. The best off-road vehicle is an overweight, under-
powered vehicle with a lot of torque. You are limited by how much traction is available in
relation to torque, not by horsepower. Think your way through things; do not just try to
throttle your way through every problem. Sometimes it can be a matter of moving a few
inches one way or another on the trail or around an obstacle. If you understand how your
vehicle works, then you will understand how to thoughtfully solve problems and thereby
prevent damage to your vehicle.
