My skin feeling
The warmth of the fire,
I knelt closer
So I could embrace my desire.
Suddenly my brother
Tip-toed in,
Then snuggled next to me
For he is my kin.
On the floor we sat,
Waiting for a while,
Until he looked out the window,
And began to smile.
White little crystals
Came drifting around.
Their entrance was cunning,
Without a sound.
In the morning
When we woke,
There was an astonishing sight -
The town in a white cloak.
We got up and cheered
And whistled with thrill,
Then we ran outside
Feeling the cool winter chill.
