Mexico has very popular culture, food, and music for a good reason. Mexico is a country where you can go for education or vacation. You can visit the Yucatan Peninsula for its large quantity of beaches and all-inclusive resorts or stop in the capital, Mexico City, their most populated city, for an urban setting modernized with the rest of the world.

While most of the world continues to become more and more contemporary and reliant on technology, Mexicans still hold on to their treasured traditions and cultures. Because Spain first colonized Mexico, most of society classifies itself as Roman Catholics, a religion that shapes many celebrations and traditions. Most well known, Mexican cuisine favors basic ingredients grown by first settlers including fajitas, empanadas, and multiple rice dishes. Although most of the food you and I call Mexican is Americanized, Mexican cuisine has influenced many countries around it, including the US.

Maybe the most well known part of Mexico would be the large landmarks of the native people. Home to civilizations like the Aztecs, Incans, and Mayans, Mexico is often visited for structures like Chichen Itza, Tulum. Palenque. These sites are some of the most visited archeological structures in North America and are depicted on many Mexican souvenirs.

Full of diversity and tradition, Mexico is a country not to miss. From a fiesta in Mexico City to Chichen Itza and from the beaches of Cozumel to restaurants in Cancun, Mexico is well rounded and worth a visit!
