Catholic Charities Invitational Celebrates 35
Years with New Golf Tournament Features
The Catholic Charities Invitational
35th Annual Golf Tournament will be
held on June 24 at Silver Creek Valley
Country Club in San Jose. The tour-
nament, chaired by Mike Blach, has
a new format this year as the event
celebrates a special milestone in the
tournament’s history.
“We are making some significant
enhancements to the day to create an
even more memorable and enjoyable
experience for golfers,” according to
Mike, who is a parishioner at Saint
Christopher’s and a past President
of the Catholic Charities Board of
Directors. “Our tournament will
offer a day of fun with exceptional,
upscale golfing at Silver Creek Valley
Country Club.”
The day will include lunch, cocktail
reception, dinner, and shopping spree
at the mobile pro shop. An opportu-
nity drawing will be held for the Lexus
Champions For Charity Golf Tourna-
ment at Pebble Beach. Tickets sales
are open to all and two lucky winners
will play Pebble Beach, Spyglass and
Spanish Bay, with lodging at the Inn
at Spanish Bay for four nights.
“On behalf of the tens of thousands
of clients we serve in our County,
please accept our thanks for your
continued and faithful support and
patronage of this important event for
Catholic Charities,” Mike said.
