‘ Our Lady of La Vang ’ new name of St . Patrick Proto-Cathedral
Our Lady of La Vang statue depicts focus of Vietnamese devotion and was placed temporarily at St . Maria Goretti Parish in San Jose several years ago , before a final marble statue was erected there . Devotion to Our Lady of La Vang is widespread in the Vietnamese community and the Diocese of San Jose . ( Story , page 2 )
