If so, the docents invite you to consider join- ing their organization by attending an orientation meeting on April 3 at 1 p.m. at the Cathedral Parish offices. Newly trained docents would be assigned at the Ca- thedral with veteran docents, one or two days a month, to conduct tours for drop-in visitors. Docent hours for visitors are Tuesdays through Fridays, from 1-3 p.m. Docents are also available to make presentations to prescheduled tour groups of grade school children, parish organizations and a variety of civic groups. Typi- cally, docents spend about 4 hours a month in the cathedral.
