One of the great joys of our work is
the annual open grant cycle, through
which we are able to provide financial
support to many wonderful pockets of
“spiritual innovation” across the valley.
Our cycle this year will open February
2. We will be accepting applications in
four areas until March 31. Below are the
descriptions of each area:
Apolonia Andre Fund for Liturgical
Music:
The Eucharist is central to Catholic
life. One important aspect of this worship
is music. We will support the development of parish liturgical music programs,
aimed at enriching parish worship life
and strengthening our communities
around the Eucharistic celebration.
Available funds: $4,000.00
Parish Outreach Endowment:
Each parish serves the community
in a unique way. Many feed the hungry,
some help people find employment, and
others minister to immigrant populations. This endowment will fund grants
to parishes that address the many pressing needs of this community. Available
funds: $71,800.00

In the January 13 edition, Page 6 the caption underneath Holy Family’s
Christmas program photo should have read … “The Kindergarten class from
Holy Family presented the Nativity story at the annual Christmas program
to a packed house of family and friends. The audience was charmed by their
lively interpretation.”
