Teenage girls are like wildfires
People underestimate their strength
Their passion spreads quickly
When they’re anger they leave paths of destruction
Destroying everything in their way
You forget that not all weather is damaging
Some are bright and loving
But you don't think about those
You just prepare for the bad and hurtful
Rather than try and keep them happy
Yet you say you can predict them
Know the changes and the dangers
You can save everyone from the destruction of the storm
But you never stop to think
“What if I helped the storm?”
You never stop to ask the rain if they’re ok
You never try to calm a wildfire
You never try to hug a tornado
Or catch lightning
Or hold up a landslide
You run from them all
Or you watch them in awe
But never once do you try and fix them
You’ll let them fix themselves
All on their own
