Your’e heading on a 12 week holiday. Your task is to plan a trip around Australia.
GET READY TO PACK YOUR BAGS...
1. PLANNING
OPTION 1
During your 12 week holiday you need to travel through each of the States and Territories of Australia.
2. KEEPING A RECORD
Start and End in Shepparton. Each day you need to travel between 100 - 500km. Be sure to keep accurate records of your trip using Click2Map, including: • • • • • • • km travelled each day fuel costs for each day accommodation costs food costs Tourist attractions visited and activities costs. pictures or photos any other costs associated with your trip.
You must keep a daily budget in Click2Map and a separate budget for the total cost of your holiday.
3. USING
You need to register to use the Web Tool Click2Map. Click2Map is a tool you can use to visually track your trip and keep track of your day to day activities.
4. FINISHING TOUCHES
Be sure to include every aspect in your Click2Map project. Almost everything but a running budget can be included. You will need to create a separate budget.
Buy a vehicle and caravan to tour around Australia.
OPTION 2
Buy a vehicle and pay for accommodation during your holiday.
Be sure to add these costs to your overall budget.
5. EXTENSION TASK
Choose one town or city you stopped at and create an advertisement to entice other tourists to visit the place. Be sure to include reasons and attractions which could persuade others to visit.
Once you create your map you are able to add Markers with detailed information. This is where you will Publish your information from Step 2.
