Traffic Generation – Pinterest
If you are anything like me, you might have thought that Pinterest was something which is only
used by teenagers and people who are interested in hobbies like sewing and craft work
If so, you couldn’t be more wrong.
I couldn’t believe how naïve I was by completely dismissing Pinterest as a form of traffic generation
as it is possible to get lots of high quality traffic by following a few simple steps.
If you Google the term ‘Pinterest traffic’ for more information you will see various high end courses
which are offered by the internet marketing gurus which promise to show you how to tap into this
highly lucrative technique.
Don’t worry about buying any courses though because I will go through the simple steps that you
need to take to get traffic to your website by using Pinterest.
Open a Pinterest account if you don’t already have one
If you are not familiar with how Pinterest works, they have some great guides in their help section,
but it is all very straightforward.

 ick a niche along with a relevant Clickbank product (If you are following along with me, you
will know that we are operating in the weight loss niche)

 ou will need to create what are called ‘boards’ and make at least ten of these boards, each
one on a different sub niche of the main niche. In our case we could create boards on ‘lose
belly fat safely’, lose weight for my wedding’, ‘I hate being unfit’ etc
 E
 very day, look for around thirty images on the web which are related to your boards and pin
them. (full details how to do this on Pinterest)
 I  nclude the URL to your website in around a quarter of these images. Some people will link
directly to an affiliate offer but you will be far safer by linking directly to your website.
