‘So where do you row exactly?’ For
Wykehamist ‘boaties’ this is a familiar
question and something of a badge of
honour. For the big rowing schools, it is a
question that is never asked, for the
answer is the same: the Thames.
Westminster, Radley, St Paul’s, St
Edward’s, Abingdon, Hampton, Shiplake
and Eton all row on various stretches of
