Hertford College, Oxford 1948. 2 PPE,
BA 1951. Advertising copywriter London
and New York, during which time he was
awarded the WPN Gold Quill for best
corporate advertisement for BP 1960.
Publications and advertising executive,
Rank Organisation 1967-83; scriptwriter
for The Late Show BBC; writer for Punch
including theatre reviews. Partner in
family-run Indian Restaurant – Malabar
in Notting Hill Gate. Late in life he wrote
two revues for the Bridewell Theatre
2002/03. Trustee, the Larry Burrows
Educational Trust, supporting students
from India, Asia and the West Indies.
Married 1965 Jo van Milder who survives
him with their son and daughter.
