BUILDING COMMUNICATIONS ON
A FOUNDATION OF RESPECT
The key to successfully communicating change is to act from a place of respect for the
employees. That means treating employees like the intelligent adults that they are. It also
means using what we at Tribe call the Golden Rule of Change: Put yourself in their shoes and
think about how you’d want to be treated in the same situation.
