Long before a case reaches the courtroom, its outcome is often shaped at the mediation table. Now in its second year, the Lanier Mediation Advocacy Academy is designed for plaintiff attorneys who want to approach that moment with greater precision, strategy, and control.
Designed exclusively for experienced practitioners, this advanced program focuses on what actually drives results in mediation— how decisions are made, how leverage is created, and how the most effective trial lawyers influence outcomes when it matters most.
A New Kind of Legal Training
Led by Randy Lowry, alongside John Lowry and Mark Lanier, the program breaks from traditional CLE formats. There are no lectures, simulations, or role-play exercises. Instead, participants engage in professionally facilitated, high-level dialogue designed to surface the most sophisticated strategies in mediation advocacy.
Through a focused, conversational format, the program examines the five stages of mediation using brief framing presentations and guided small-group discussions centered on the decisions and strategies that shape outcomes. Over the course of the program, participants collectively generate more than 200 actionable mediation tactics, captured in a proprietary roadmap provided at the conclusion of the program.
Enrollment is limited to just 40 participants, ensuring depth of discussion and meaningful engagement. Demand is high, and availability is extremely limited.
