The Depo-Provera litigation is no longer in its early, exploratory phase. Moving rapidly, the JPML established the multidistrict litigation( MDL) and transferred the case to the Hon. M. Casey Rodgers in the Northern District of Florida. The Court identified five pilot cases for expedited discovery and trial, and firms across the country filed thousands of cases. The Court set a December 2026 trial date, and the FDA approved a change to the Depo-Provera warning label after Pfizer’ s second submission.
