Here ’ s a guide on how to implement the audacious goals you have for your law firm using the principles of the 12- week year and a Quarterly Mindset :

Occasionally , there are some projects so big that you must break them in half and do one part of it one quarter and the second part the next quarter . For example , creating processes systems for your law firm is a huge goal that needs to be divided into achievable quarterly components . The key at Step 2 is to be as detailed as possible , outlining who is responsible for each task , the deadlines , and the resources required . Accountability is a necessity for implementation , and it won ’ t happen if you don ’ t have assigned point people for all needed tasks .
Step 3 : Set Weekly Objectives and Short Project Meetings . Have an assigned Project Manager ( someone in your firm ) break down your Quarterly plans into weekly objectives — ideally in a task management system such as Monday . com . Step 7 : Align and repeat . After completing the First Quarter , get ready to align and repeat the process going into the Second Quarter . Hold a new quarterly planning session , identifying and fleshing out the next 2-4 Projects you want to accomplish for the Second Quarter that further one or more of your larger goals .
