Colombian New Year
Colombia has many traditions, celebrations, and superstisions for every New Year that comes around. These celebrations usually start around midnight though clubs are always open proir to New Years day. On New Years Eve, people start hosting parties with the local people. Another 'superstition' is that on New Years Eve people cook a special 'New Years bread' which contains a coin. At midnight, the head of the household cuts the bread and distributes it evenly throughout all of the family members. Whoever recieves the coin is said to have good luck throughout the New Year.
