Your connection
at a critical time.
As a trainee, we welcome your perspective and participation. We’re
glad that you have chosen chest medicine as your specialty, and
we strive to provide you with access to personal and professional
growth opportunities tailored to your career level.
Here’s what CHEST has to offer you,
Membership
Join a Committee
CHEST membership is now open to all
members of the chest medicine team,
including trainees at all levels of your
career. Key benefits to members include
access to cutting-edge, original research
published in the journal CHEST, networking
opportunities through NetWorks, access to
evidence-based guidelines, and discounts
to many dynamic clinical education opportunities. Not a member? Join today to get
involved at chestnet.org/join.
Our success relies on volunteers. Hundreds
of volunteers make up CHEST teams, and
every participant is valued. Each spring, we
open a call for volunteers with committee
openings. Visit the committee page for a
listing of our committees and the roles and
responsibilities of each. Get involved and
help shape our future.
Trainee Resource Hub
Your one-stop resource during your training
and even after training. The Trainee Resource Hub provides trainee members with
access to professional resources to help you
advance your knowledge and participation
in the CHEST community. The Hub provides
resources for fellows, medical students and
residents, and fellows transitioning out of
fellowship. Visit chestnet.org/traineehub
Join a NetWork
NetWorks are our special interest groups
that focus on particular areas of chest
medicine. Members can join any of the
22 NetWorks to connect with others who
have similar interests; help plan educational sessions; take on leadership roles; and
participate in the development of policies,
opinions, and position statements. NetWork
membership is open to CHEST members.
