2019: A new era for The TRADE
In 2018, The TRADE experienced its
most successful year yet across print,
events and digital under the new
leadership of Tungsten Publishing.
Our digital platform exceeded
1.35 million unique page views, far
surpassing the record set last year
and continuing our story of digital
year-on-year growth.
Highlights

new brand
launched
Our annual Leaders in Trading Awards
evening saw the highest number of
attendees topping 250 for the first
time, including a record number of
buy-side traders.
The TRADE ran a series of proprietary
and bespoke events over the course
of 2018, including the latest in our
MiFID II series, which first started in
2017, with MIFID II: Check In, which
saw sell-out attendance levels
despite the February snow, and our
very first ETF Forum. We also ran two
awards events for our Rising Stars
and Leaders in Trading.
The TRADE launched new brand -
The TRADE Crypto, a capital
markets-dedicated cryptocurrency
title for institutional asset managers
and investors. We were also pleased
to partner with WBR to produce the
official publications for the TradeTech
Europe and TradeTech FX Europe
conferences.
