Speaking to The TRADE from her office in the heart of Geneva, she shares that the lesson she returns to most is that it’ s important to value the people who make up the industry, those who helped build the desk alongside her and centring the clients whose needs continue to evolve at an ever-faster pace.
Oddin has learnt first-hand the value of remaining curious in order to stay ahead of the curve- regardless of how much experience you accumulate. When it comes to how best to glean real success within the continually shifting world of trading, it’ s about adaptability.
A holistic approach The challenge of building a modern trading function extends far beyond execution. Balancing evolving market structure, regulation and technology with increasingly sophisticated client demands requires an approach that brings together a range of expertise.
