Baylor Dallas once again ranked No. 1 hospital in Dallas metro area
Baylor Scott & White Health leads the state of Texas in the number of accolades earned in U. S. News & World Report’ s“ Best Hospitals” 2016 – 2017 publication. Together, 15 Baylor Scott & White hospitals received national rankings or highperforming ratings, more than any other health system in Texas.

Once again, U. S. News ranked Baylor University Medical Center the No. 1 hospital in the Dallas Metro Area and No. 3 in Texas. Baylor Dallas, which has been included on the prestigious list for 24 years was ranked nationally in 2016 – 17 in four specialty areas: Gastroenterology & GI Surgery; Ear, Nose & Throat; Diabetes & Endocrinology; and Neurology & Neurosurgery.
This year, for the first time, The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano was eligible to be recognized as one of the Best Hospitals for 2016 – 17 by U. S. News & World Report, ranking No. 18 in the nation for Cardiology and Heart Surgery.
The U. S. News B e s t Hospitals rankings, now in their 27th year, help guide patients to hospitals that deliver outstanding care across 25 specialties, procedures and conditions.
