Gifted leaders from across North Texas join Foundation board B ay l or H e a lt h C a r e Sy s t e m Foundation is pleased to announce that 18 outstanding business, community and philanthropic leaders have joined the Foundation board as new members. Margo Goodwin will serve as board chairman for her second year. “We are fortunate to have a wonderful tradition of a strong and involved board,” said Rowland K. Robinson, Foundation president. “Their perspective, insight and leadership will elevate the Foundation and the impact we have in the communities we serve. Board members serve as ambassadors of Baylor Health Care System’s mission to serve all people through exemplary health care, education, research and community service. The near term focus of the Foundation is the successful completion of the $250 million comprehensive campaign, Campaign 2015: Baylor Makes Us All Better. As of September 2015, the Foundation has raised more than 92 percent toward its campaign goal. “The 18 men and women we’ve added are distinguished leaders in business and community organizations across North Texas,” said Margo. “I look forward to working closely with this outstanding group of individuals in support of many exciting Baylor projects.” The Foundation is also grateful for the service of the board members who rolled off following the completion of their term this year: Barry G.
