Items needed for your own boil:
• Propane tank
• Burner (High BTU Burner, like 50K and a regulator,
with shorter base)
• Wooden 36” paddle
• Big pot with wire basket insert (80 quart is best)
• Fresh water
• Salt
• Small, plastic child’s swimming pool
• Rolls of paper towels
• Trash cans lined with trash bags
• Newspapers to line your tables
Ingredients:
• Zatarain’s powder or seasonings of your choice
• Crawfish, cleaned & purged (4 to 5 pounds per person)
• Items that can be added to your crawfish boil include:
mushrooms, Andouille or smoked sausage, bay leaves,
sliced lemons, sliced oranges, mushrooms, small red
potatoes, garlic cloves, onions, celery, hot dogs, broc-
coli, powdered celery. Cayenne pepper, liquid crab
boil, bell pepper halves, mini corn-on-cob, and sweet
potatoes.
