Thus far, LaPoynor’s FBLA chapter conducted a blanket making project for the Children’s Miracle Network and participated in ringing the Salvation Army bell. LaPoynor’s FBLA chapter invited Athens chapter to make blankets at the LaPoynor High School to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. After the blankets were made, they were delivered to Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas. LaPoynor’s FBLA chapter also rang the Salvation Army bell on the seventeenth of December at the Walmart in Athens, Texas. Our chapter is hoping to continue in giving back to our community throughout the year.

The Wellman-Union Chapter from Area 1 donated dozens of coloring books and hundreds of crayons to University Medical Center-Children’s Miracle Network in Lubbock on December 20th. They were given a tour of the children’s wing of the hospital which allowed them to see exactly what and who the money raised by the State Community Service Project would be benefiting.
