The dining hall expansion will be the largest single construction project in our history. Including the porches, it will be over 20,000 square feet. The total dining area will
seat over 400 people in five different air conditioned seating areas. A tower with stairs will rise up in the middle giving guests the ability to eat at tables over 50 feet in
the air and look out over the surrounding landscape. The lower level provides multi-use areas for conference, extra dining, over-flow sleeping, and storage. We will also
be expanding the drink service area, kitchen, food storage, and cleaning areas.
The expanded dining hall will change the landscape of the camp and meet a significant need. The current dining hall can seat about 175 people inside. Our retreat
weekends average over 200 guests and the summer camps average over 400 campers. As we continue to grow, so does our need for more dining areas and space for
fellowship. This project will provide for both.
