he early ‘90’s bring about a steady increase in guests and demand for increased services would lead to the hiring of additional full time staff to assist the Jones’ in the
area of program services like recreation. The increase in recreation services would include
a covered basketball gym, low elements challenge course, and additional lake activities.
Conference Room C was also built with an enclosed concession stand. The conference
room accommodates 70 guests and further develops the camp’s ability to accommodate a
larger variety of groups at one time. Camp Tejas developes a reputation for great food and
service during these years.
