The Teenage Brain (May 2014) | Page 4

I made this magazine to highlight the brain, more specifically the teenage brain. I am 15 years old going on 16 in November. So the things I think about can vary with many different topics. My brain is constantly working and thinking of the most random topics.I have the typical mind of a 15 year old girl, which means clothes, music, and cuteness is mostly on my mind. The only thing different is my passion. I have a passion for knowledge! How the human brain works, how it functions! Why I think this. Have you ever thought about it, all the 7,229,458,948 people living on earth (recorded at 8:31pm on 4/27/14) have a human brain, but we all think differently, feel differently. We all experience life differently. That itself is the most phenomenal thing. This obsession, grew and led me to make a decision in 8th grade. I want to be a neurologist; I am going to be a neurologist.

Think! We all make decisions in our life. We all think about the most serious and random things. Right now I am thinking about the Evening of the Arts.I will perform a procession, but all I can think is: what will go wrong? I am thinking about the negatives rather than the positives. Will I fall? Trip, take someone down with me? Will I have enough time??? How many things will I screw up? It’s terrible, its a curse, I can only think of the negatives.
