Instructions:

Students are separated in pairs, one of them take the role of interviewer and one interviewee, the first student chooses the questions that he want and the second student should be able to answer them reading the text. Activity is repeated interchanging the roles and then the same steps are repeated, this time without reading. Three students are chosen at random and pass forward and they are interviewed by different students in the class.

TASK BASED ACTIVITY

The following activity is intended to be realized with third year secondary students. The purpose of this activity is to get the students further understand a job interview, questions, possible responses and formal language to be used on these occasions. This activity is inserted in the Book Global English for third year of high school into the unit Professions. The type of questions are varied in tense and structure, so in this way it is hoped that students will improve their knowledge about different tenses.

Objective: At the end of the activity, the students will be able to recognize different types of questions and formal expressions used in a job interview.
