Minimum Requirements : Bach deg in Civil Engrg or Civil Engrg Technology ( may be foreign educ equiv ); 2 yrs . exp . as a Civil Engr or Project Engineer ; 9 months exp using AutoCAD Civil ; 9 months exp using Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis software , SSA / Storm . net software , or stormwater & sanitary system analysis for sewer system management software ; and 9 months using Autodesk Construction Cloud build software , Merdian Pro log software , or other construction management software .
Position Duties : Works under the direct supervision of a professionally registered civil engineer in preparing civil engineering design plans , calculations , and specifications for the civil / structural works components of projects . Prepares quantity take off / estimates for client ’ s reference and bidding purposes . Conducts site inspections and provides solutions for impending civil engineering issues that arise during construction . Uses AutoCAD Civil , Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis software , Autodesk Construction Cloud Build software , and other software in job performing job duties .
