We hosted a Community Conversation Event on March 25 & 26 , 2023 at Gibsons Public Market , in beautiful Gibsons , BC .
Panelists discussed the intersectionality of art , creativity , and healing , the revival of the sacred art of storytelling ( why and why now ), and story as vehicle for transformation , community , and connection .
The stories we tell ourselves tell us who we are , who we can become , and , most importantly , how we are connected . They have the power to heal and transform each of those things , and filmmaking can do that on a global scale , at a moment when we are just waking up to how interconnected we all really are . I can ' t imagine a better time to hold space for that exploration .
