Sealing the Stupa
On a blustery day in April 2004 with 30-mile-per-hour gusts the 800-pound, sevenfoot-tall bronze spire was gently lowered onto the Stupa, with the Tree of Life in its
center. Mantras were stacked around the sok-shing as far as possible into the spire.
Capping the Amitabha Stupa with the spire sealed the last of the inner chambers.
It was a day of great rejoicing.
