Blessings in Bronze
It took more than a month to complete the clay model of the Stupa’s
spire and to adorn it with powerful
Vajra Guru mantras in Sanskrit (Om
Ah Hung Vajra Guru Pema Siddhi
Hung). In addition, six attempts were
required to sculpt Amitabha Buddha
in perfect proportion before the clay
image was finally cast in bronze. The
completed bronze spire rests on a
bed of lotus petals.
