Surely today, you have thought of your to-do list,
and probably sighed in frustration because you feel
there’s simply not enough time in the day. Perhaps,
maybe you wish human cloning was in use so you
could handle all of the demands you and your family
have. Now imagine that same stress, but being unable
or incapable of doing some of the simpler tasks just
around your house. This is a stressor that many elderly,
disabled, and other populations have. Fortunately,
one man in southern New Mexico has the remedy
to assist, and provide quality care.
Dwight Godwin of Clovis, New Mexico,
founded his company K-Bee Home Care Services,
LLC. They have done wonders for the people with
needs in the eastern area of New Mexico and parts
of Texas. Serving the elderly, disabled, and even
veterans, K-Bee Home Care Services has drastically
improved the quality of life for their clients through
empathy, excellence, and a heart for service. K-Bee
Homecare Services assists and provides their clients
with household chores, running errands such as
grocery shopping, and other needs that may arise.
Originally from Florida, after graduating from
college in Pensacola, Dwight was stationed and served at
Cannon Air Force Base. He mentioned how being in this
industry wasn’t the original career path he had in mind
for himself, as he was working in the correctional field for
almost a decade. As a youth probation officer in Roswell,
Dwight first got exposure through the juvenile home-based
programs and helping incarcerated youth. He discovered
that he was passionate about helping them recreate and
better their lives.
His path changed in 2009, when he had some exposure
to the area of personal home care business, and was
pleasantly surprised when friends and family affirmed
his abilities in this field. Dwight attributes his knack for
service, and developing necessary skills to start in this
sector to his time working in social services through
the correctional system. Establishing his own company
seemed to be destiny. Any home care business calls for
certifications, and applicable credentials issued by the state
in which they will operate. This is where most business
owners see many hurdles and hang-ups in getting off the
ground. This was not the case for Dwight Godwin. K-Bee
Home Care Services, LLC completed and was awarded
all applicable certifications no later than 2010.
