mission
The mission of the Mississippi State University PGA Golf Management program is to attract bright, highly motivated men and women, educate and train them, qualify them for membership in the PGA of America, and place them in highly desirable jobs in the golf industry. We will do this by helping students develop their playing ability, designing a curriculum that prepares students for PGA testing and certification, and guiding students through a thorough education in marketing. We will give students extraordinary service throughout their careers at Mississippi State and afterward, keep a highly qualified and motivated staff, and offer faciilities that meet students' needs in golf and in academics. The Mississippi State PGA Golf Management program will maintain a reputation for developing outstanding golf professionals through an extraordinary, intense, and supportive program.
