questions about her involvement in the
ABA and the Center for Professional
Responsibility.
Q: What (or who) got you involved in
the ABA?
Kara Johnson: When the Young Lawyers
Section of SBAND was reestablished, the
Section was looking for someone to fill the
role of the ABA Young Lawyers Division
District Representative.  The role is a shared
position that rotates between being held by
North Dakota and South Dakota.  I was
asked to fill that position because I was one
of the only North Dakota young lawyers who
had attended an ABA meeting.  The District
Representative position within the Young
Lawyers Division was the starting point for
my continued activity within the ABA.
