HYSTERECTOMY AND CVD
In this paper , the risks associated with both partial and total hysterectomy on future cardiovascular disease risk was highlighted . Woemen who had ovarian tissue spared were still at an increased risk of CVD compared to women without hysterectomy , increasing the need for earlier screening and higher vigilance in this population with respect to cardiovascular risk .
