Spring 2014
Spring is in the Air
It’s finally spring! The sun is shining, the flowers are bloom, and a fresh
breeze is blowing through the MSU Fencing Club! Our club has been
established on campus since 1977, which means we have been around for
37 years this year! It’s amazing that the club is still standing as strongly as
we are now.
Some of you may be wondering about our club’s history. While we know we
have been around since the 70’s, what do we really know about this club?
How did we get here? I myself have been wondering about this very thing. In
this newsletter we’ll unearth some of history of our club together, maybe
uncover some new things, and maybe clear up some misinformation.

Aside from the history report, we will also discuss tournaments we have
attended, announce future tournaments we plan to attend, our goals to help
keep this club going in the future, our Youtube videos, fundraising
opportunities and more!
