The SpotLight Magazine started with a thought and idea. My first magazine, InSpirit had been a success but it was strongly based on health and wellness, it really focused on the person behind the avies.
I saw a lot of good and positive things going on right here in the imvu world. Although, much of my desire is to reach the person sitting at the computer, I also thought it would be great to showcase or "spotlight" what was going on in the IMVU world.
The SpotLight magazine is a magazine for you, the people in the community. It's for everyone, you can be a noob, a guest, anybody and there is something for you in The SpotLight magazine. The magazine is not made to showcase the best or the most popular, it wasn't even put in place to be the "best " magazine on Imvu. The purpose was to be a magazine by the people for the people. To put our best foot forward when it comes to being professional and when it comes to quality. To have a standard and to stand by that standard and it just so happened that people loved it...We will always strive for the best and drive towards success, realizing that there will always be room to grow. The SpotLight Magazine is a continous work in progress.
It's hard to believe that it has been 2 years since the first issue but there is one thing for sure...It has been a team effort.
EmpressMCocoKnight3t, formerly known as MinnesotaCoco has been the Editor and Chief since the first issue. I thank her with all oa my heart, she has been both a supporter and a fan. She has been a hard worker and a great friend, she is dedicated to both the magazine and the community. I can truly say that this magazine would not be much without her insight and her positive influence
I would like to say thank you to the IMVU community as a whole. The vision and the end product would be nothing without you, your support has been great. Your involvement has been fantastic and your feedback will always be appreciated and the fuel that leads us to our success.
God is good and is a shinning light to us all. Thank you for a great 2 years and here's to your continued success as a community that puts it's best forward. I wish you continued success in your business adventures, informative groups and positive events...I raise my glass to YOU.....CHEERS!!
